Feeling much better today! Barely any pain in the morning but I went to see World War Z and now I'm back to feeling pain again. Darn.

Next book:
Promises Linger by Sarah McCarty

Summary:

Elizabeth Coyote will do anything, anything at all, to save the ranch she loves, including marrying Asa MacIntyre, a broad shouldered, lean hipped silver eyed gunslinger with a ruthless reputation for getting the job done.

Asa dreams of a place of his own, a wife, and the respect that comes with both. Marrying Elizabeth may have started as a means to an end, but nothing in Asa's wildest dreams prepares him for the excitement of unleashing the carnal woman beneath his wife's prim and proper exterior.

I'm still trying to figure out why my words are all in italics but before I know what's going on, this is how it's going to be.

Uf. It works now.

The cover: I don't like it that much really. It reveals too much skin and it's awkward. I think whoever made this cover could have done it better. So much better. What's going on with his head? I can't make out the part above his neck. All I see is a bunch of muscles getting bunched up. Weird.

Given the comments about bookcover, it would make sense that I did not enjoy reading this book, right?

Wrong.

If there's one thing I want to say about this book, it's WOW. Okay, WOW here is not really for the plot. Apparently this type of novels don't really have much plot. It's not for the sex either (although there are some pretty hot scenes in here - but I'm not going to discuss them here. It's not the point.) WOW here is for the hero. I love him love him love him. I swear if he's real, I'm going to marry him right at the spot, I don't care of we're 20 years apart and yes, HE IS THAT HOT.

I love his personality. The way he's always cool and patient, and the way he looks at the heroine as if his world revolves around her (and it is to him!) The story starts out with the heroine having to marry Asa to save the ranch. Elizabeth is a very very prim woman because of her tough past. But layer by layer, Asa tripped away her severity and reveal her true self for her. One more thing I'm going to comment is that Elizabeth is THE MOST innocent virgin I've ever read. The first time they are in bed... well, you'd have to read it to find out and I had so much fun reading it!

If you like romance and innocent virgins, you WILL love this book. I guarantee!
